Job Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Solar Power Project Engineer/Coordinator responsible for end-to-end execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects. The role includes technical coordination, documentation, site execution, and complete MSEDCL liaisoning for approvals, net-metering, and commissioning.


Project Execution

  • Site survey, feasibility analysis, and system sizing for solar PV projects
  • Coordination with vendors, EPC teams, and installers
  • Supervision of installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

MSEDCL Liaisoning

  • Liaison with MSEDCL offices for:

  • Net Metering applications and approvals
  • Load sanction / load extension
  • Meter testing, replacement, and installation
  • CEIG / Electrical Inspector approvals (if applicable)
  • Preparation and submission of all required MSEDCL documents
  • Follow-up with MSEDCL officials until final synchronization and commissioning

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare project reports, drawings (SLD, layout), and as-built documents
  • Maintain records of approvals, invoices, and commissioning certificates
  • Ensure compliance with MSEDCL, MNRE, and local electrical safety norms

Customer Coordination

  • Act as a single point of contact for customers during project execution
  • Explain process timelines, documentation requirements, and approvals
  • Provide post-installation support related to MSEDCL issues
  • 1–3 years of experience in solar power projects (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of MSEDCL net metering process
  • Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical panels
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle government liaisoning
  • Preferred SkillsExperience with rooftop solar projects (Residential / Commercial / Industrial)
  • Knowledge of MNRE subsidy process
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge
  • Two-wheeler with driving license (field work requirement)
