Tax Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a CA firm and possess hands-on exposure to Income Tax, TDS, and audit-related assignments. This role requires a solid understanding of direct tax laws, attention to detail, and the ability to manage client deliverables efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance:

Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.

Preparation and filing of TDS returns, computation of TDS liabilities, and ensuring timely deposit.

Assistance in advance tax computations, tax reconciliations, and tax planning.

Audit Support:

Assist in Tax Audits (Form 3CA/3CB & 3CD).

Prepare working papers, audit schedules, and maintain audit documentation as per standards.

Coordinate with clients to collect data and resolve audit-related queries.

Client & Department Coordination:

Communicate with clients for information requests and compliance timelines.

Assist in handling Income Tax Department correspondence for routine matters.

Maintain proper documentation, trackers, and status reports for ongoing tax assignments.

Skills & Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of Income Tax provisions, TDS, and Tax Audit procedures.

Proficiency with Income Tax and TDS utilities, and working knowledge of Tally and Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple assignments with accuracy and timeliness.
