Job Description: Technician – Apprentice Field Executive (Vending Business)

Location: PCMC & Chakan Area

Business Unit: Chai Point – Vending Operations

Role Type: Field-based (Travelling Required)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technician – Field Executive to support our Chai Point Vending Business. The candidate will be responsible for breakdown management, preventive maintenance, and ensuring seamless functioning of vending machines across the assigned locations.

• Key Responsibilities: Attend to machine breakdowns and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per the defined schedule.
• Install, configure, and service vending machines at client locations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to machine electronics, hardware, and basic software.
• Maintain service reports and update work status regularly.
• Coordinate with the operations team for parts replacement and escalations.
• Ensure minimum downtime and high machine uptime.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards at client locations.
• Build positive rapport with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical preferred.
• 0–2 years of field service experience (vending industry experience is an advantage).
• Ability to handle field breakdowns independently.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of electronics and wiring.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Must be comfortable with extensive travel within PCMC & Chakan areas.
• Self-driven, disciplined, and willing to work on field assignments.

Additional Requirements:

• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).
• Smartphone for reporting and field tracking.
• Flexible to work in urgent breakdown situations when needed.
