Vehicle Service Technician

Department: Service & After-Sales Experience: 1 – 3 Years Education: ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering Location: Multiple Locations Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles while ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Candidates with experience in Electric Vehicles (EV) are preferred; however, candidates with Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) automobile service experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. • Carry out troubleshooting and repair of vehicle components including electrical systems, motors, and mechanical assemblies. • Ensure timely completion of service jobs while maintaining quality standards. • Follow company safety procedures and service protocols. • Maintain service records and update job cards accurately. • Coordinate with service advisors and workshop supervisors to ensure smooth service operations. • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment. Eligibility Criteria • Experience: 1–3 years in automobile service and maintenance. • Preferred Experience: Electric Vehicle (EV) service experience. • Alternative Experience: Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle service. • Education: ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering or relevant technical field. Required Skills • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. • Familiarity with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment. • Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment. • Good teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Skills • Hands-on experience in EV diagnostics and repair. • Knowledge of battery systems, controllers, and vehicle electronics. • Experience working in authorized service centers or OEM workshops.
