QA / QC Executive

Job Title: Quality Control Executive – Food Industry

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Reports To: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
• Monitor in-process quality checks, hygiene practices, and critical control points (CCPs)
• Conduct routine quality tests, sensory evaluation, and basic laboratory analysis
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, GHP, HACCP / ISO 22000 requirements
• Maintain quality records, batch manufacturing records, traceability, and COAs
• Identify deviations, issue NCRs, and support corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections
• Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Handle customer quality complaints and assist in root cause analysis

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology / Chemistry
• 1–3 years experience in food manufacturing (freshers with strong knowledge may apply)
• Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations and food safety systems

Skills Required

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work on the shop floor and coordinate with production teams
• Basic MS Excel and reporting skills
