Job Description
- Perform production activities as per SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and batch instructions
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and production equipment
- Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods
- Ensure accurate documentation of batch records, test results, and logbooks
- Monitor process parameters (temperature, pH, pressure, etc.) during production
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the lab and production area
- Perform calibration and basic troubleshooting of lab equipment
- Identify and report deviations, abnormalities, or non-conformances
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support quality control and assurance teams in audits and inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and hazardous material handling
- Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
- Manage inventory of chemicals, reagents, and consumables
- Assist in process validation and improvement activities
- Prepare and maintain reports, test certificates, and production summaries
- Follow shift schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
