Production Supervisor(Laser Cutting)

LASER CUTTING PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Prepare, Review, interpret, and modify AutoCAD drawings for pipe/tube components before production 

• Prepare and verify cutting programs and nesting layouts based on drawings for robotic laser machines 

• Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet delivery targets 

• Operate and monitor CNC/robotic laser cutting machines, ensuring proper parameters and cutting quality 

• Ensure proper material handling, alignment, and clamping to avoid distortion or errors during cutting 

• Inspect cut components for dimensional accuracy, edge finish, and compliance with drawings 

• Coordinate with maintenance/OEM support to troubleshoot machine issues and perform preventive maintenance 

• Optimize cutting strategies to reduce scrap, maximize material utilization, and improve efficiency 

• Maintain production data including machine utilization, downtime, and rejection rates 

• Coordinate flow of cut components to downstream processes (fabrication and galvanizing) and ensure traceability
