The Collection function at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank plays a critical role in maintaining portfolio quality and ensuring timely recovery of dues. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts, coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders, and executing structured collection processes in compliance with bank policies.Key Responsibilities
• Manage assigned cases for debt recovery and regularly update clients on case status.• Review customer profiles to identify potential defaulters and high-risk accounts.• Analyze reasons for default and report findings to management.• Maintain and report monthly sub-lease and collection databases.• Track due calling data and update customer and guarantor contact details and addresses.• Provide collection performance reviews of Relationship Officers to management.• Ensure proper implementation of cash receiving processes and maintenance of cash registers.• Review problematic accounts and recommend structured repayment solutions.• Conduct field visits to customers, guarantors, and references as required.• Participate in weekly collection review meetings to identify issues and closure plans.• Coordinate with Branch Managers for issuance of repossession orders when applicable.• Follow up with customers to identify bottlenecks and ensure prompt collections.• Ensure effective and timely collection of due payments in the assigned region.• Support timely invoicing and collection operations.Educational Qualifications
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma• Eligible Qualifications include:• MBA (all specializations including BFSI, Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, Analytics, FinTech, etc.)• BBA and equivalent management-related bachelor’s programs• PGDM and other recognized management programsMinimum Marks Required:
• Graduation (UG): 45%• Post Graduation (PG): 45%• Diploma: 45%Experience Requirements
• Freshers with educational experience in Banking, Collections, or Financial Services or other relevant fields.Skills and Competencies
• Strong communication and listening skills• Good presentation and interpersonal abilities• Negotiation and collection management skills• Understanding of banking and financial products• Analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to explain complex financial information clearly• Customer handling and field coordination capabilities
