Job Description: Sales Manager – FMCG

Location: Prayagraj (Allahabad) & Surrounding Areas

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and expand our FMCG sales operations in Prayagraj and nearby regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distributor networks, and strengthening market presence.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets for FMCG products
  • Manage and expand distributor, wholesaler, and retailer networks across Prayagraj and surrounding areas
  • Identify new business opportunities and penetrate untapped markets
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and key stakeholders

Required Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of FMCG sales channels

  • Proven ability in distribution management and territory sales
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market intelligence
  • Proficient in MS Excel, reporting, and basic CRM tools

Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant FMCG sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Experience handling Prayagraj and nearby markets will be an added advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
