Studio Operator

Role Overview:

The Studio Operator is responsible for ensuring smooth studio operations, including managing equipment, overseeing live class streaming (YouTube and Vidyakul app), troubleshooting issues, and maintaining studio administration as per SOPs. The operator must coordinate effectively with teachers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless live class experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and publish the weekly class schedule; confirm teacher availability 40 minutes prior to the session.
• Manage timely receipt and setup of class resources like PPTs; ensure readiness of presentations 5 minutes before class.
• Monitor and initiate live streaming processes 5 minutes before class start on OBS, YouTube, and Vidyakul dashboards.
• Ensure smooth transitions between classes by reminding teachers and setting up the studio efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment checks on cameras, microphones, lighting, computers, and digital boards; report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain studio equipment cleanliness and perform monthly deep cleanup of CPU cabinets.
• Troubleshoot audio-video issues during live streaming; liaise with technical support for unresolved problems.
• Save and upload class recordings or session documents promptly after the session ends.
• Implement mandatory system restarts every 4 hours to protect equipment from technical issues.
• Follow strict adherence to studio presence rules; avoid unauthorized absence.
• Conduct handover procedures during shift changes for continuity.
• Participate in training, monthly tests, and comply with HR policies regarding attendance and professional conduct.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic technical knowledge of OBS Studio, live streaming platforms, and AV equipment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers and support teams.
• Professional appearance and adherence to workplace policies.
• Ability to work under schedule pressure and maintain composure during live sessions.
