Account Manager

The Senior Manager – US/UK Accounting & International Clients is a high-visibility leadership position responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance for US/UK/APAC/EMEA/IN/ME-based clients. This role demands a hands-on leader capable of managing high-performing teams, directing month-end closures, and acting as a primary liaison with international stakeholders and the Management.

Client Management & Strategy

• Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for US/UK/APAC/EMEA/IN/ME-based clients to manage expectations, deliverables, and service quality.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with international client leadership & Company's Management.
• Service Delivery Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Escalation Management: Proactively manage client escalations and resolve issues efficiently. 

US GAAP Compliance & Financial Reporting

• Financial Oversight: Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in compliance with US/UK/AUS GAAP standards.
• GAAP Bridging: Lead complex GAAP-to-GAAP reconciliations (Indian GAAP to International GAAP).
• Financial Review: Review General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and P&L statements for accuracy.
• Technical Accounting: Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues.

Team Leadership & Operations

• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop teams of accountants (50+ members).
• Performance Management: Set KPIs, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Process Optimisation: Drive efficiency through process improvements, automation, and standardisation of workflows.cs +3

4. Audit & Regulatory Compliance

• Audit Coordination: Lead annual statutory audits and internal audits, coordinating directly with Big 4 or other audit firms.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls, including SOX compliance.
• Tax Coordination: Liaise with US/UK/APAC/EMEA/IN/ME-based clients' tax consultants for federal, state, and local tax filings. 

Requirements

• Education: A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior managerial role handling international clients (US/UK/ME/EMEA preferred).
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of all international GAAP and IFRS.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, Zohobooks or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
