Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our real estate business. The role involves handling statutory compliance, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate books of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts including sales, purchase, expenses, and journal entries
• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups and payments
• Handle GST compliance including return filing, reconciliation, and reporting
• Manage TDS deductions, returns, and compliance as per statutory requirements
• Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR)
• Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and other financial statements
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and statutory audits
• Maintain proper documentation and records as per company and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax laws

Skills & Qualifications :

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in a real estate or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax
• Experience in real estate accounting preferred
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
