Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated Audit Assistant to support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits of small and medium-sized clients. The role involves assisting in audit execution, documentation, compliance work, and client coordination under the guidance of senior staff and partners.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Internal Audits, and other assurance engagements
• Verify accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents
• Assist in preparation of audit working papers and documentation
• Check compliance with Income Tax Act, GST, Companies Act, and applicable standards
• Support in GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings
• Perform basic vouching, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations
• Coordinate with clients to collect required information and documents
• Assist seniors in preparing audit reports and observations
• Maintain confidentiality of client data at all times
• Required Skills & KnowledgeBasic understanding of Accounting Principles
• Working knowledge of Income Tax and GST
• Familiarity with Tally / accounting software
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Willingness to learn and ability to work under deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Preferred Candidate ProfileFresher or candidate with up to 2 years of experience in a CA firm
• CA Inter / Article assistant / Commerce graduate
• Exposure to audit and compliance work is an added advantage
