Civil Design Engineer

Role Overview:

Handles civil and structural design aspects for rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations, including foundations, mounting structures, drainage, and site preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze site conditions, soil reports, and geotechnical data to recommend foundation types and structural designs for ground-mounted systems.

Design civil layouts, including foundations, piling, roads, drainage systems, and support structures for solar panels (rooftop and ground-mount).Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and specifications using tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or STAAD.Pro.Perform structural analysis for wind, seismic, and load considerations specific to solar projects in Maharashtra.Coordinate with electrical/mechanical teams for integrated design and support tender/pre-bid activities.Ensure designs comply with local regulations, MNRE guidelines, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

ME (Structure)B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering,2–5 years in civil design, preferably solar EPC, ground-mount structures, or infrastructure projects.Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and civil design software; knowledge of solar mounting systems is a plus.
