Job Title: Civil Supervisor – Metro Station & Depot Maintenance

Job SummaryThe Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and maintaining civil infrastructure at metro stations and depot facilities. The role includes inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of civil structures such as buildings, platforms, roads, drainage systems, and other structural components to ensure safe and smooth metro operations.

• Key Responsibilities1. Civil Infrastructure MaintenanceSupervise maintenance of station buildings, platforms, depot structures, and service buildings.
• Inspect walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and structural components for cracks, leakage, or damage.
• Carry out repair works such as plastering, tiling, painting, and waterproofing.
• 2. Structural InspectionMonitor the condition of platform edges, staircases, ramps, footpaths, and station concourse areas.
• Inspect expansion joints, concrete structures, and structural supports.
• Report structural defects and coordinate repair work.
• 3. Water Leakage & Drainage MaintenanceCheck roof leakage, water seepage, and waterproofing systems.
• Maintain drainage systems, stormwater drains, and sewage lines.
• Ensure proper water flow and prevent water accumulation in stations and depots.
• 4. Road & Pavement Maintenance (Depot Area)Supervise maintenance of internal depot roads, parking areas, pathways, and pavements.
• Repair potholes, cracks, and damaged concrete or asphalt surfaces.
• 5. Safety & ComplianceEnsure all civil maintenance works follow safety guidelines and metro authority standards.
• Maintain safe conditions for passengers, staff, and contractors during repair work.
• 6. Team SupervisionSupervise civil technicians, contractors, and maintenance workers.
• Assign daily maintenance tasks and monitor progress.
• Ensure proper use of tools and materials.
• 7. Documentation & ReportingMaintain inspection reports, maintenance records, and work completion reports.
• Coordinate with MEP teams and station management for integrated maintenance activities.
• Report major defects or structural concerns to higher management.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of building maintenance, concrete repair, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Ability to read civil drawings and layouts.
• Experience in structural inspection and maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Qualification - Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years experience in civil maintenance of metro, railway stations, airports, or large infrastructure facilities.
