• Key Responsibilities:
• Operate crimping machines for wire termination in harness production.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect wires and terminals before and after crimping to ensure proper connection and quality standards.
• Set up machines with appropriate tools, dies, and materials based on job specifications.
• Perform quality checks using crimp height gauges, pull testers, and visual inspections.
• Record production output and report any discrepancies or defects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Report machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
