Location- Western Avenue, Aundh

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in sheet metal design and fabrication (can be adjusted for senior/junior roles).

• Software Proficiency: Strong skills in CAD tools PDM systems, and MS Office.
• Knowledge: Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability), material properties (e.g., stainless steel, mild steel, plastics etc ), welding, and surface finishing processes.
• V5CAD Skills: 2D Drafting, 3DModeling, Surface and Sheet Metal Design, Assembly Drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in designing sheet metal , plastic, composite frp products 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings of sheet metal parts using CAD software
• Develop detailed designs for Gratings, chamber covers, customised linear drainage channels , floor drains and various other products
• Ensure proper fit, form, and function of parts and assemblies.
• Manufacturing Support:
• Collaborate with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure designs are cost-effective and feasible for production.
• Generate flat patterns and DXF files for laser cutting, punching, and bending operations.
• Engineering Analysis:
• Optimize designs for weight reduction, material utilization, and ease of assembly.
• Documentation & Standards:
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, ECNs, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and internal standards (e.g., ANSI, ISO, GD&T).
• Project Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Participate in design reviews and support prototype builds and testing.
