Job Description: The Help Desk Support Executive will provide technical assistance and support for users within the Panchayati Raj Monitoring Unit or Student Resource Centre (SRC). This role involves responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of technology and software used in the unit. The executive will act as the first point of contact for users seeking assistance with IT-related problems.

Key Skills

Major Responsibilities

Technical Support:

Respond to help desk calls, tickets and inquiries from field staff promptly.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

Provide guidance on the use of software applications relevant to the Panchayati Raj monitoring processes or to the Student Resource Centre (SRC) processes.

User Training and Education:

Conduct training sessions for field staff on software applications and best practices.

Create and maintain user manuals and documentation for frequently encountered issues.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

Monitor IT systems for performance issues and outages.

Perform routine maintenance and updates on software and hardware systems.

Data Management:

Assist in data entry, data management, and ensuring data integrity in the monitoring unit's systems.

Generate reports based on user requests and operational needs.

Collaboration:

Work closely with IT teams and other departments to resolve complex issues.

Provide feedback to management regarding recurring issues and suggest improvements.

Documentation:

Maintain a log of all issues, resolutions, and user interactions.

Update knowledge base articles with new solutions and best practices.
