Key duties include installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts, implementing security protocols, and providing technical support. 

Core responsibilities

1) System and network upkeep: Overseeing the day-to-day operation of computer networks and systems, including servers, to ensure they are running smoothly. 

2) Installation and configuration: Installing, configuring, and upgrading new hardware and software to meet the needs of the organization. 

3) Security management: Implementing and maintaining security protocols, creating user accounts, and managing access to prevent potential threats and cyber-attacks. 

4) Troubleshooting and support: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing diagnostic tests, and providing technical support to employees. 

5) Data management: Performing backups, archiving data, and developing data recovery procedures. 

6) Optimization: Optimizing IT infrastructure for productivity and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations. 

7) Documentation: Documenting processes and procedures.
