Marketing Executive

You’re responsible for selling and distributing ice cream products to retail outlets (kirana stores, supermarkets, parlors, hotels, etc.) within a defined territory. The job focuses on order generation, relationship management, and ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Order Booking

Visit assigned retail outlets daily

Take orders for ice cream products (cups, cones, family packs, etc.)

Achieve daily / weekly / monthly sales targets

2. Market Coverage

Cover all outlets in your route (beat plan)

Add new retailers and expand distribution

Ensure no outlet is missed (especially during peak summer)

3. Product Availability & Visibility

Ensure stock availability at stores

Monitor freezer space and product placement

Check expiry dates and maintain freshness (very important for ice cream)

4. Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with shop owners

Handle retailer complaints or issues

Encourage retailers to stock more SKUs

5. Collection & Payments

Collect payments (cash/credit follow-ups)

Maintain basic records of outstanding dues

6. Coordination with Distributor

Communicate stock requirements to distributor

Align with delivery team for timely supply

Skills Required

Basic sales and negotiation skills

Good communication (local language + basic English)

Physical stamina (field job, travel, heat exposure)

Time management (route discipline)

Basic math/account handling
