Pre-Sales Proposal Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pre-Sales Proposal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy in costing, compliance with Incoterms, and alignment with client requirements. A background in bakery or snacks manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:      

• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for clients.
• Ensure proposals are compliant with industry standards, Incoterms, and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to gather necessary inputs.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for projects and proposals.
• Analyze financial and technical feasibility to support decision-making.
• Provide transparent breakdowns of costs to aid client understanding.
• Utilize AutoCAD to prepare layouts, designs, and technical drawings as required.
• Support sales teams with technical clarifications during client interactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and present solutions.
• Evaluate risks, feasibility, and profitability of proposals.
• Provide recommendations based on sound judgment and analytical thinking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings and layouts.
• Strong command of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Sound knowledge of costing principles, proposal preparation, and Incoterms.
• Familiarity with food production standards and industry-specific costing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to critically think, analyze, and make decisions under pressure.

Preferred/ Bonus Skills: Prior exposure to international trade and logistics.
