Production Operator (Capacitor)

Key Responsibilities -

Person has to lift heavy material and do 12 hours of duty

• Assemble capacitor bank panels and sub-assemblies as per technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Mount electrical components such as capacitors, contactors, reactors, fuses, relays, busbars, and terminals.
• Perform internal wiring, crimping, lug fixing, and cable routing according to specifications.
• Ensure proper torque tightening and alignment of electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct basic electrical testing such as continuity, insulation resistance (IR), and functional checks.
• Identify and report defects, missing components, or deviations to the supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures while handling electrical components and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the workstation as per 5S practices.
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in packing and dispatch preparation after final inspection.
• Maintain daily production and assembly records.
