Purchase Executive

Role Overview

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of construction materials for real estate projects, including vendor finalization, rate negotiations, purchase planning, and coordination with site and accounts teams to ensure timely and cost-efficient material availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure construction materials strictly for real estate / construction projects (cement, steel, RMC, sand, aggregates, tiles, electrical, plumbing, finishing items, etc.)

• Source, evaluate, and manage real estate–specific vendors and suppliers

• Prepare comparative statements, negotiate rates, finalize vendors, and issue Purchase Orders

• Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for material requirements and schedules

• Monitor material deliveries, quality, shortages, and replacements

• Maintain purchase MIS, vendor records, rate contracts, and documentation

• Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and timely payments

• Track market price fluctuations of construction materials

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards
