Location: Wagholi, Pune

Experience Required: 2–3 years

Industry: Wiring Harness / Cable Harness Manufacturing Preferred.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials related to wiring harness manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing wires, terminals, connectors, PVC, tapes, consumables, and other harness-related materials, along with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
• ✔ Purchase Order Preparation: Issue purchase orders (POs) as per company requirements and follow the approval process.
• ✔ Material Planning: Plan material procurement based on production schedules.
• ✔ Stock Management: Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained to avoid material shortages.
• ✔ Supplier Follow-up: Track and follow up with vendors for on-time delivery of materials.
• ✔ GRN & Bill Coordination: Coordinate with stores for GRN and with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
• ✔ MIS & Reporting: Maintain purchase MIS, price comparison sheets, and daily/weekly purchase reports.
• ✔ Inter-department Coordination: Work closely with production and stores teams to understand material requirements and delivery priorities.
• ✔ Import Purchase Handling (if required).
• ✔ ERP Handling: Manage purchase entries and documentation in Tally ERP Prime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Any stream).
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier management ability.
• Good understanding of raw materials used in wiring harness/cable harness manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic formulas).
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of market rates and alternate suppliers.
• Experience using Tally ERP Prime is mandatory.
• No specific certification required, but supply chain knowledge is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Weekly Off: Sunday
• Joining Requirement: Immediate joiner preferred / Notice period up to 1 month or 15 days acceptable.
