Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with AS and company policy and procedures and completeness of financial data.
• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes including entering daily invoices/bills/journal entries/weekly check runs. Also tracking receivables an payables on weekly basis.
• Reconcile all bank accounts
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Ensure vendor invoices and check requests are paid in accordance with authorization and approval policies and follow up on invoices not approved
• Ensure compliance with local, state, regulations, including tax filings and audits. Liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
• Mentor and supervise junior accountants, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
