Job Description
Manufacture, assemble, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds
Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
Operate machines such as lathe, milling, surface grinder, and drilling machines
Perform fitting, filing, grinding, and polishing work
Check dimensions using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge)
Maintain accuracy and quality as per tolerance standards
Carry out tool maintenance and breakdown repairs
Follow safety and shop-floor discipline
