Academic Counsellor

Job Description: 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students regarding academic programs, career 

options, and educational opportunities. 

• Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and goals to develop personalized 

education plans. 

• Guide students and their families through the application process for schools, colleges, and 

universities. 

• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the education sector, including new 

courses, scholarship opportunities, and admission requirements. 

• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate students and parents about various educational 

pathways and career prospects. 

• Collaborate with educational institutions to arrange campus visits, informational sessions, and 

networking opportunities for students. 

• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress. 

• Develop and distribute informative materials such as brochures, newsletters, and online content. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree 

preferred). 

• Proven experience in educational counseling or a similar role. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 

• Strong ability to empathize with students and understand their individual needs.

Familiarity with educational systems and admission processes in India and abroad. 

• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for virtual counseling sessions. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
