📌 Job Description – Accountant (Construction Industry)

🔹 Position: Accountant

Shreyas Civil Engineering is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage accounting operations related to construction projects. Candidates with prior experience in a construction company will be given preference.

🔹 Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts related to construction projects

Handle site-wise and project-wise accounting

Record purchase, sales, expenses, and contractor bills

Manage vendor payments, client billing, and reconciliations

Prepare GST returns, TDS, and statutory compliance

Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts

Coordinate with site engineers for expense tracking

Assist in preparing monthly financial reports

Knowledge of costing, billing, and BOQ accounting is an advantage

🔹 Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

Proficiency in Tally, Excel is Mandatory

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant in a construction company (preferred)

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and construction accounting

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

🔹 Preferred Candidate:

Experience in civil or infrastructure projects

Familiar with site accounting and contractor management

Immediate joiner preferred

🔹 Salary:

As per experience and industry standards
