Job Title: Customer Service Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating and managing documentation, interacting with customers to understand their needs, and coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

  - Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

  - Provide accurate and timely information on shipment status, rates, and services.

  - Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

2. Documentation:

  - Create and manage shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.

  - Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Vendor Coordination:

  - Communicate with vendors (carriers, warehouses, etc.) to understand their requirements and ensure smooth operations.

  - Negotiate rates and services as needed.

4. Customer Education:

  - Educate customers on logistics procedures, regulations, and best practices.

  - Provide guidance on how to optimize their shipping operations.

5. Operational Support:

  - Assist with shipment tracking, tracing, and expediting.

  - Collaborate with internal teams (operations, accounting, etc.) to resolve issues and improve processes.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP).

- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics procedures.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with freight forwarding software.

- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures.
