Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who has a proven track record of managing end-to-end financial operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an accountant and hands-on expertise in Zoho Books/Zoho applications for accounting and financial management. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to ensure compliance while supporting the organization’s financial planning and decision-making.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and legal regulations.
• Support audits by preparing required documentation and coordinating with auditors.
• Monitor cash flow, payments, and receivables to maintain healthy financial operations.
• Process payroll and maintain employee financial records (if applicable).
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
• Work extensively on Zoho Books/Zoho Finance Suite for bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and reporting.
• Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CA Inter preferred).
• Prior experience working as an Accountant with a strong understanding of financial processes.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Zoho accounting software is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance regulations.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
