Job Title: Accountant

Overview : The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial planning and compliance efforts. This role involves maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and maintain financial statements and reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
