Accountant

• Financial record-keeping: Maintain the general ledger, accurately record all financial transactions, and manage accounts payable and receivable. 
• Month-end and year-end close: Manage the closing of books, including preparing journal entries for accruals, provisions, and prepayments. 
• Bank reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. 
• Tax and compliance: Prepare and file tax returns (like GST and TDS) and ensure timely payments of all statutory dues. 
• Vendor and client management: Process vendor invoices, payments, and follow up on client payments. 
• Audit support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. 
• Financial reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.

Key skills and qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software - Tally and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of tax laws, including GST and TDS.
