Accountant Executive

Job Description for Accountant Executive (Payment) 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant Executive (Payment) to handle daily payment processes, vendor transactions, and financial record maintenance. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting procedures and ensure timely and accurate payments.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Process and manage all types of payments (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cheque, UPI). 

•  Handle vendor payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices. 

•  Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before processing payments. 

•  Maintain proper records of all outgoing payments and transactions. 

•  Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for payment-related queries. 

•  Perform bank reconciliation related to payment entries. 

•  Track due payments and maintain payment schedules. 

•  Assist in accounts payable activities and ensure accuracy in ledgers. 

•  Prepare reports on daily/weekly payment status.

Requirements:

•  Basic to good knowledge of accounting transactions and payment processes. 

•  Familiarity with bank reconciliation and accounts payable. 

•  Knowledge of Tally or any accounting software. 

•  Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Education & Experience:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance 

•  6 months - 1 year of experience in accounting/payments preferred (Freshers with good knowledge can also apply)
