Advocate

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Advocate / Legal Associate to join our legal team, specializing in cooperative housing society matters including society registration, conveyance, deemed conveyance, redevelopment, and liaison with DDR (District Deputy Registrar) office.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Drafting & Vetting of legal documents including MOUs, Development Agreements, Power of Attorney, Indemnity Bonds, Affidavits, and Consent Letters.

  •  Handling Society Registration, Conveyance Deed, and Deemed Conveyance processes under the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act.

  •  Preparing and filing required documents with the DDR Office and following up on the progress of deemed conveyance and registration applications.

  •  Representing the company and clients before authorities such as the DDR, Sub-Registrar, Registrar of Societies, and other government departments.

  •  Managing legal documentation, title reports, and title verification for redevelopment projects.

  •  Providing legal opinions and guidance to clients (societies) regarding ownership, succession, and legal compliance.

  •  Coordinating with internal teams (technical, accounts, PMC) for legal aspects of redevelopment.

  •  Attending client meetings, SGBMs, and committee interactions as and when needed.
