AI Engineer – Python, AWS Bedrock, Generative AI, LangChain & Serverless Architect

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled AI Engineer specializing in Python and AWS to design and implement end-to-end Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) based solutions. This role focuses on building intelligent pipelines leveraging AWS Bedrock and advanced AI frameworks to develop AI agents and serverless applications. The AI Engineer will drive innovation by integrating LLMs with enterprise systems and orchestrating AI workflows that deliver business value, particularly in talent acquisition and financial sectors.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Python programming with strong AI/ML development experience

  • AWS Bedrock (mandatory) for building AI solutions

  • AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven serverless architectures

  • Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines

  • AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, Agent Core, or similar

• Preferred:

  • AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow

  • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)

  • Research automation tools such as QuickSuite, Deep Research

  • Hierarchical and multi-agent architectures

  • Vector databases e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable GenAI and LLM-based AI solutions on the AWS cloud platform

• Build intelligent data and AI pipelines using AWS Bedrock and advanced prompt engineering techniques

• Develop AI agents with multi-step reasoning and tool-calling capabilities leveraging agent-based frameworks

• Create serverless AI applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven designs

• Integrate LLMs with enterprise APIs, vector databases, and RAG systems to enhance business workflows

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with organizational objectives

• Stay abreast of emerging AI research and technologies to continuously improve and innovate AI models and applications

• Contribute to the strategic planning and delivery of AI initiatives within Synechron

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: Python (advanced proficiency)

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Preferred: Vector databases including FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Essential: AWS Bedrock, AWS Lambda, API Gateway

  • Agile development practices, version control systems

Experience Requirements

• 4+ years in AI engineering, data science, or related roles involving generative AI and LLM-based solutions

• Hands-on experience building AI solutions on AWS, especially with AWS Bedrock and serverless architectures

• Proven expertise working with agentic AI systems, multi-step reasoning, or tool-calling pipelines

• Experience integrating LLMs and AI workflows within enterprise ecosystems

• Industry experience in talent acquisition, financial services, or related domains preferred

• Alternative experience pathways may include demonstrable project work in AI integration and cloud deployments

Day-to-Day Activities

• Designing and developing generative AI and agent-based pipelines on AWS

• Implementing serverless AI applications and managing event-driven workflows

• Collaborating with product, engineering, and data teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

• Debugging and optimizing AI models and infrastructure

• Conducting research on emerging AI technologies and applying findings to enhance capabilities

• Participating in Agile rituals including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience

• Certifications related to AI, AWS cloud technologies, or software engineering are advantageous

• Commitment to ongoing learning in AI, cloud services, and emerging technologies
