Tastykhana is seeking an experienced Indian Chef – All-Rounder to manage and execute a wide range of Indian and Indo-Chinese preparations for our fast-growing cloud kitchen operations in Balewadi, Pune. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in preparing Indian curries, Tandoori dishes, Biryani, and Chinese cuisine, as well as managing daily kitchen operations with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and hygiene.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and supervise Indian curries (North & South Indian), Biryani, Tandoor items, and Indo-Chinese dishes
  • Ensure taste consistency, portion control, and presentation as per Tastykhana standards
  • Handle daily kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, and dispatch coordination
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness as per FSSAI standards
  • Manage raw material usage, stock control, and minimize wastage
  • Coordinate with helpers and kitchen staff for smooth operations
  • Assist in menu standardization, new dish trials, and cost control
  • Ensure timely order execution for online food delivery platforms
  • Monitor equipment usage and report maintenance needs


Required Skills & Expertise:

Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Indian gravies & curries
  • Biryani (Dum & commercial preparation)
  • Tandoor (Rotis, Naans, Kebabs, Tikkas)
  • Indo-Chinese preparations


Knowledge of:

  • cloud kitchen / high-volume kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food costing and portioning
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
  • Leadership skills to manage kitchen staff
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management


Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred
  • 6–10 years of relevant kitchen experience
  • Experience in multi-brand or cloud kitchen setup is an advantage
