API & Database Tester

 Roles & Responsibilities:

* Perform API testing using Postman / REST clients

* Validate API request & response, status codes, headers, and payloads

* Execute Database testing using SQL queries (joins, validations, data integrity)

* Perform Manual, Functional, Regression & Sanity testing

* Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA / similar tools

* Coordinate with developers & business teams for defect resolution

* Ensure test cases are aligned with business requirements

🔹 Skills Required:

* Strong knowledge of API Testing (REST APIs)

* Hands-on experience in Database Testing (SQL, Oracle/MySQL)

* Good understanding of SDLC & STLC

* Experience with Test case design & execution

* Basic understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP methods

* Exposure to BFSI is a plus

🎓 Qualification:

* BE / BTech (IT / Computer / CS) – Mandatory

* ISTQB Certification – Added Advantage
