Job Title: Area Business Manager – Pharmaceutical Products

Location: Pune

Experience Required: 3 – 8 Years

Salary Range: ₹4 LPA – ₹5 LPA

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Area Business Manager (ABM) to manage sales operations, team performance, and business growth for pharmaceutical products in the Pune region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in pharma sales, team handling, and territory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).

Conduct field visits, joint working, and ensure effective product promotion.

Build strong relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and distributors.

Ensure availability of products across the territory.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and create business growth strategies.

Organize CME programs, doctor meetings, and promotional activities.

Prepare and share weekly/monthly sales reports.

Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, or any graduate with strong pharma sales experience.

3–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales; minimum 1 year in team handling preferred.

Strong knowledge of Pune territory and healthcare network.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Ability to work under targets and manage a field team effectively.
