Job Description – Senior Python Automation Engineer
Experience: 5–8 Years
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid/Remote)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Python Automation Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Invoice Processing platforms. The role involves building data ingestion pipelines, orchestration logic, API and RPA-based automations, and audit-ready data frameworks for multi-customer finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Python-based automation for Open AR, invoice posting, and reconciliation workflows
- Ingest and normalize AR data from Excel/CSV sources and cloud storage systems
- Implement rule-based orchestration for customer segregation, vendor-portal mapping, and invoice matching
- Build and manage API integrations with finance platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP, Oracle)
- Orchestrate and integrate RPA bots for non-API portals
- Implement exception handling, retries, reconciliation, and reprocessing mechanisms
- Design and maintain operational databases, audit logs, and evidence repositories
- Enable reporting datasets for SLA, aging, and automation performance analytics
- Collaborate with finance SMEs, RPA teams, and data engineers

Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, REST APIs, async processing)
- Solid experience with automation frameworks and workflow orchestration
- Advanced SQL and relational database design (PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
- API integration experience with authentication (OAuth2, JWT)
- RPA tool exposure (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Playwright, or Selenium)
- Cloud experience (GCP preferred) and CI/CD pipelines

Domain & Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and Invoice Processing
- Experience with reconciliation, dispute handling, and SLA tracking
- Exposure to BI tools and analytics enablement
- Knowledge of Agentic AI or intelligent automation is a plus
