Audio Video Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end setup, configuration, and commissioning of AV and VC systems including displays, cameras, microphones, DSPs, and control processors.

Deploy and maintain MTR, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and other UC platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve VC / AV issues — both on-site and remotely.

Integrate AV systems with network infrastructure (LAN, VLAN, PoE devices).

Work with control systems such as Crestron, Extron, AMX, or Q-SYS.

Perform room calibration, audio tuning, and video optimization.

Collaborate with the design and project team for system drawings, rack layouts, and cable schematics.

Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and provide training to end-users.

Maintain documentation, configurations, and version control for installations.

Support periodic preventive maintenance and on-call service visits.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in AV / VC system integration or service.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and Zoom Room deployment and administration.

Familiarity with AV signal flow, HDMI/HDBaseT standards, and IP-based AV systems.

Hands-on experience with DSPs (Biamp, QSC, Poly, Shure, etc.).

Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs).

Exposure to structured cabling and rack building.

Knowledge of display calibration, audio tuning, and camera positioning.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Certifications such as CTS / CTS-I / CTS-D, Microsoft Teams Rooms Specialist, or Zoom Certified Integrator will be an added advantage.
