Automobile painter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, mixing, matching, and applying paint, and performing final finishing touches to ensure a flawless, high-quality result. You will maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with all safety standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, buff, and mask vehicle surfaces to prepare them for painting.
• Painting Application: Apply paint coats, including primers, base coats, and clear coats, using spray guns.
• Color Matching: Mix and match colors accurately using computerized paint mixing technology to match vehicle finishes.
• Repair & Finishing: Repair minor defects in paintwork and perform finishing tasks like buffing and polishing.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and tools in a clean and efficient condition.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines regarding hazardous waste disposal and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage.
• Workflow Efficiency: Manage time efficiently to complete paint jobs within promised timelines. 

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an auto painter in automotive industry.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive refinishing, including paint mixing techniques and spray gun operation.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to achieve high-quality,, flawless, and durable paint finishes.
• Education: ITI in Painter General/Automotive or relevant experience.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and support team members in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Competencies

• Good understanding of paint products and related technology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary Range

• ₹ 15,000/- to ₹ 30,000/- as per experience.
