Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs as per job cards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
- Carry out repairs related to engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is completed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
- Follow OEM processes, safety standards, and workshop SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper use of tools, equipment, and workshop area.
- Record all work details accurately in job cards/DMS.
- Report repeated issues or major faults to the Team Leader / Service Advisor.
- Attend technical training programs conducted by OEM or dealership.
- Support road test activities and ensure vehicle quality before delivery.
- Required Skills & Competencies:Strong technical knowledge of automobile systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic scanners and tools.
- Understanding of workshop safety norms.
- Teamwork and time-management skills.
- Qualification & Experience / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience as a Service Technician in an automobile dealership or workshop.
- Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma may also be considered.
