Backend Developer – Overview:

About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Backend Developer with hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel to join our development team. You will be responsible for building robust back-end logic, integrating APIs, managing databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our web applications.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend logic using PHP and the Laravel framework
• Design and manage RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Optimize database queries and application performance
• Ensure data security and protection at all levels
• Debug and troubleshoot application and integration issues
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing

✅ Required Skills:

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel (8.x or above)
• Solid understanding of MySQL / PostgreSQL and database schema design
• Proficiency with REST APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and Laravel Sanctum/Passport
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
• Experience using Git version control
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles

💡 Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React
• Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Blade templating
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email services)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Digital Ocean
