Role Overview

As a Barista at Third Wave Coffee, you will be responsible for preparing world-class beverages, creating a welcoming customer experience, and upholding our brand’s standards of quality and hospitality. You will be the face of the café and play a key role in building memorable moments for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience-Greet customers warmly and guide them through the menu.
• Take orders accurately and provide product recommendations.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and engaging atmosphere.
• Coffee Preparation Prepare espresso-based and manual brews following Third Wave Coffee standards.
• Operate coffee equipment (espresso machine, grinders, brewers) with precision.
• Ensure consistent beverage quality and presentation.
• Store Operations Manage POS transactions, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar, seating areas, and equipment.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and restocking supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and café SOPs.
• Team Collaboration Work cohesively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively during peak hours for optimal workflow.
• Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Nice-to-Have Knowledge of specialty coffee, latte art, and manual brewing methods.
• Understanding of café operations and customer service best practices.
