Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-commerce and Team Operations Manager to take full ownership of our online business performance and operations. This crucial role requires a unique individual who can not only drive sales and manage all aspects of the e-commerce platform but also expertly navigate and lead our internal, relative-based teams (e.g., procurement, fulfillment, marketing) to ensure seamless execution.

• Key ResponsibilitiesE-commerce Strategy & Management (60%)Strategy & P&L: Develop, execute, and own the overall e-commerce strategy to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets. Manage the e-commerce budget and P&L.
• Platform Operations: Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce platform ([Specify platform, e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Store]), ensuring site health, optimal user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Merchandising & Inventory: Work closely with the procurement/inventory teams to forecast demand, manage product listings, ensure accurate stock levels, and implement effective digital merchandising.
• Marketing & Sales: Coordinate with marketing teams to execute digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, Email, Social Media) and promotional calendars. Analyze campaign performance and recommend adjustments.
• Customer Experience: Monitor customer service metrics and feedback, ensuring high standards of response and resolution, and working to minimize returns and complaints.
• Team and Stakeholder Management (40%)Internal Team Leadership: Directly lead and manage day-to-day operations across various internal teams (comprising relatives/family members) involved in the e-commerce lifecycle, including:

• Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between e-commerce needs and the capabilities of the internal teams. Establish clear, objective KPIs and standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conflict Resolution & Diplomacy: Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build consensus, address potential disagreements with objectivity, and maintain a professional, high-performing work environment among team members.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs within the teams and provide guidance to improve efficiency, productivity, and adherence to best practices.
