Job SummaryAscolite is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – Architect to strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, and design influencers in the Pune region. The role will focus on generating product specifications, influencing project decisions, and driving business growth through strong engagement with the architect and consultant community.

Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect & Consultant Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and specifiers in the region.
  • Regularly conduct architect meets, product presentations, and technical discussions to promote Ascolite solutions.
  • Ensure specification of Ascolite products in upcoming projects.

Project Business Development

  • Identify and track new construction and infrastructure projects through architect networks.
  • Work closely with project sales teams to convert specifications into business orders.
  • Monitor project pipeline and ensure timely engagement with key influencers.

Brand Promotion

  • Promote Ascolite products through technical presentations, seminars, and design consultations.
  • Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and architect forums.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the architect segment.
  • Provide insights on new opportunities, design trends, and product requirements.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales, technical support, and marketing for project execution.
  • Maintain regular reports on architect engagement, project pipeline, and business development activities.
  • Key SkillsStrong network with architects, consultants, and interior designers
  • Project sales and specification selling
  • Relationship management and influencing skills

  • Market development and strategic thinking
  • QualificationGraduate / MBA in Marketing / Business Administration preferred
  • Experience5–8 years experience in business development or project sales
  • Experience in construction chemicals, building materials, paints, tiles, or allied industries preferred
