Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Summary

We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Manager (Sales) to join our Business Development & Placement Sales team. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate clients, identifying hiring requirements, and converting them into placement opportunities for our students. The candidate will be responsible for pitching the institute’s placement services and building long-term corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Make outbound sales calls to IT and Non-IT companies to identify current and upcoming hiring needs.
2. Generate and qualify leads by interacting with HRs, recruiters, and decision-makers.
3. Pitch the institute’s training and placement solutions and explain the value proposition to companies.
4. Understand client requirements including job roles, skills, experience, budget (CTC), location, and hiring timelines.
5. Convert hiring discussions into active placement opportunities and client tie-ups.
6. Coordinate with internal placement/operations teams to ensure smooth execution of requirements.
7. Maintain accurate sales data including calls, leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM or tracking systems.
8. Follow up regularly with prospects to close requirements and confirm interview/drive schedules.
9. Build and manage long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and continuous hiring support.
10. Support corporate sales initiatives such as placement drives, virtual interviews, webinars, and campus hiring events.
