Job Description
Role Description
A. Dealer Development & Management:
➢ Identify and onboard new dealers in the taluka by leveraging local networks
and explaining Orbit’s model and benefits. Support them with supplies,
training, and regular follow-ups to ensure smooth operations.
B. Demand Generation for Dealer:
➢ Engage with farmers and communities through demos, events, and outreach
to build awareness and generate leads for the dealer.
C. Sales & Market Development (Direct):
➢ Drive direct primary sales in the territory to achieve targets and expand
Orbit’s presence beyond dealer coverage.
D. Customer Interaction & Support:
➢ Regularly connect with dealers, customers, farmers, resolve complaints, and
organize training or incentive activities for dealers and sales teams.
Eligibility Criteria
A. Education: HSC OR Graduate in any field
B. Experience: Min 2-4 Years
● Experience in handling Sales or Business development (B2B) of Farm
Machinery.
● Must have a good understand
D. Language Proficiency: Marathi (Mandatory), Hindi OR English (Preferred)
E. Background & Mindset:
● Farmer family background if possible (not a must)
● Passion for impact and making a difference on ground
● Should be willing to embrace a start-up culture of iterations, failed attempts,
ambiguity etc
