Job Title: Business Development Manager – Facade Industry

A Business Development Manager in the facade industry is responsible for driving sales and market growth for products such as glazing, glass, aluminum doors and windows, unitized panels, curtain walls, and uPVC windows. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key industry players (architects, builders, contractors), and ensuring sales targets are met. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, architects, contractors, and builders.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and achieve sales targets for glazing, aluminum systems, curtain walls, and unitized panels.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry.
• Technical Solution Selling: Present product solutions, specifications, and design options, ensuring alignment with client project needs.
• Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting, qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, to securing orders.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in facade systems.
• Internal Collaboration: Work with design, technical, and project teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. 

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Significant experience (e.g., 7-10+ years) in business development or sales within the facade, glazing, or architectural metals sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of curtain walls, unitized panels, aluminum systems, glazing, ACP cladding, etc..
• Network: Established network of contacts within the real estate/construction industry.
• Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Business/Marketing preferred.
