Calibration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Calibration Execution: Perform laboratory and on-site, manual or automated, calibration of electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical instruments.
• Procedure Development: Develop, validate, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for calibration.
• Compliance and Quality: Maintain detailed, traceable calibration records to ensure compliance with standards like ISO/IEC 17025.
• Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot and repair equipment, conducting root cause analysis for discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration techniques, and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, sensors, pressure gauges).
• Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 17025, NIST, ASME).
• Software Proficiency: Experience with computer software for data analysis and recording (e.g., MS Office, SQL).
